HERE’S HOW WE DO IT:
with a LIFESTYLE INTEGRATED LEARNING PLAN

Over the course of 3 exploration calls

We guide you to:

  • Explore your own ideas and dreams about education
  • Decide on what you want to try out
  • Regular check-ins about your progress
  • Change and refine your path toward success
  • Assess and adapt your outcomes, preparing for the next cycle of learning

TOOLS WE USE WITH YOU:

1) A customized parent guide with step by step instructions and a series of scheduled meetings

2) Access to the 7 Star Path to Curriculum Design: this process will be part of the Learning Partner design plan and can help you see the components that make an integrated learning plan.

"Where inspiration meets the form of daily life”

The Seven Star Path of Curriculum Design came to be from the practical aspects of working with children, families and education providers over many years of observation. Understanding that children learn best through the act of doing and having good practices of engagement modeled for them was only the tip of the iceberg of understanding how this path is different from other education models.

The second part is the essential need for a mood of reverence and in-spirit-ation infused with everything we do with our daily work. The practice of mindfulness that our work in the world is purposeful and valuable being tied to a spiritual practice is essentially how the Seven Star Path of Curriculum Design unfolds uniquely for each individual.  You will have access to this content after your intake calls.

Here's WHY:

"Crossing the Threshold" is a pivotal stage in Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey narrative structure, signifying the hero's departure from their ordinary world and entrance into a new, often challenging, special world. This moment marks a commitment to the adventure and a separation from the familiar, requiring courage and often involving a physical or symbolic boundary.

WHY do you want to educate your child(ren) differently than what the mainstream offers or what you, yourself experienced in education?

Consider the following questions to help you orient to WHY

Who is standing before you now? YOUR CHILD or CHILDREN
    1. How would you describe your child’s current worldview?
    2. What do they seem curious about right now?
    3. How do they define success, if they’ve shared that with you?
    4. How do they respond to rules or authority?
    5. What do you believe is their greatest strength?
    6. Where do they struggle most—socially, emotionally, intellectually?
    7. Do they seem to feel a strong sense of belonging? To whom or what?
    8. How does your child define “health”? What do they model or reject?
    9. How do you personally define wealth, sovereignty, and freedom? How do these values show up in your home?
    10. What do you hope they gain from this experience—if anything?

Look for these prompts inside the parent guide after you complete your intake.

In the process of embarking on this journey, we come back quarterly to these questions for deeper review!
